recent experiments in the studio

I tried to set up a system by which I could collect rainwater from outside and bring it into the studio, but after a few days the funnel and tube had been stolen...






The little flag from my old studio flickers slightly when there is a breeze in the room, making the airflow visible.





I was reading in The Nick of Time the other day, something about Bergson and duration. He used the example of dissolving sugar in water... so I put down the book and did a little experiment to see how long it took, and whether it affected my perception of duration... I watched it for hours, with minimal change, so I just left it for a couple of days, until the sugar began to grow mould.
